Call me odd but I don't see either, my first thought was that she is going left, not anti-clockwise.

It took several minutes and eventually, covering half of her body with my hand before I was able to see her going counter-clockwise.

Still, I think I'm a slightly more analytical person than I am creative.

I see it moving clockwise, then if I concentrate on the shadow foot I see it moving counter-clockwise. If I focus on the pointed foot I can sometimes see it clockwise again.

I wonder how gender effects the ability to go back and forth.

Wow.. that was interesting, because I thought clockwise first, and I really can't see how it can move anti-clockwise...

Definitely anti-clockwise first...and I did see her change direction later. The characteristics for left brain seem overall the best fit. Librarian/teachers need to possess some capacity for logic!
