With a surname as obviously Scottish in origin as Stewart , I don't see how anyone couldn't get [Gus] as a shortened version of [Angus]. This is Australia. Lore dictates every Christian name is a shortened version of something. If it cannot be so, then it's replaced with "mate" or "dickhead". Stay with Gus. It suits you well.

We called our son Angus because we didn't think you could do anything to screw it up. Now he is known by everyone but family as Gus. Whenever Drue mentions you he always speaks about 'Angus', and every time I do a double take and ask myself 'Who is he talking about?'

the major parties are carbon copies of failure. minors and independents are just crumb starved birds looking to feed off unpopular measures. i've lost faith in australian politics. i might even vote for lara bingle if she runs for government. at least the news will be more interesting.

I don't think it is selfish to want to have all four things in balance. I like what Animator said up there; there is always a way of exercising even if you are not at home and adhering to your health routine. You just need to adapt it for your purposes. As someone who frequently travels I think the best thing you can hope for is to have a gym wherever you are staying so you can work out for at least an hour or possibly two in a day. Eat healthy (I should take my own advice) and enjoy your surroundings.

I have to say that I envy you quite a lot Gus; you have the guy, the home and the job (and a car too...though the other three are what I like to call the triad! I have a theory that goes in triads but I think I will leave the explanation of that for my own journal.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice ONE weekend out to spend it at home. You need to recharge and relax sometimes. The thing is that I am sure you were not the only one who either chose not to go or couldn't make it to the mardi gras party.

As for the half naked men; I enjoy being able to grind up against them but I myself am one for someone who wears more clothes than just a single piece of material that may (or may not in some cases) cover their loins. I like that little bit of mystery. This however comes from the fact that I simply can not go without a shirt in public places such as the mardi gras party; I know that I would receive some very very disgusted looks and probably end up having a ten foot berth around me, even if I had the hottest body there. Thus I don't see the missing the mardi gras party as a terrible tragidy. Perhaps next year you will have achieved the hot body you want.

Continue juggling as you are now and I am sure you will find a rhythm that allows to add those extra balls to the fray without dropping one of the others!
